Revision 3- article pages

For my revisions of the article pages the top is what I changed it to and the bottom pictures are what they were before I got feedback on what to fix to make my magazine better. First off, I changed the background color of the pages because it is simply and when printing the magazine it will cost less. Secondly, I used Photoshop for the first time to lighten my pictures I did this because it was hard to see the athletes faces. I did this so that they would be clear and more visible. Also, I changed the arrangement of the photos so that I had one large photo on the beginning page of my article. Lastly, I added page numbers to all pages and I did this because I didn't have any before.

schedule interviews and development questions

I will be interviewing center midfielder Madeline Wasowicz who is on the Sarasota High Varsity soccer team. The way I scheduled this interview was by asking my fellow teammate if she would like to talk about the sport she loves to play. We decided a day that would be good and we meet at the soccer field so she could answer a few questions. 1. What do you most like about playing soccer? 2.What are the roles and responsibilities you take on as being team captain? 3.How do you think the coaches have helped the soccer team? 4.What are the strengths and weaknesses that the team has? 5.As a senior would you like to continue soccer in college? All of these questions are important because it asks Madeline about her personal feelings as a player on the team and basically giving an insight of what its like. Also, it is important for the reader to know how the coaches have changed the soccer program over the years.

The cover layout is very colorful and vibrant because of the summer edition by the water. They use a nice font that makes it look unique and catches the eye. The articles that are included in this magazine are about baseball and the their journey that have experienced on pages 18 and 42. Also they have schedules of games and the roster on pages 4 and 20. Some advertisements in the magazine are about restaurants near the Rays stadium and family discounts at the stadium. The restaurant advertisements are on pages 7 and 25. The discount for families is on pages 13 and 55. The pictures in the magazine are all of baseball players and baseball fields. The cover page has a Rays player on a boat in the Tampa Bay. The Inside Pitch has a distribution number of 200,000 because it is a smaller magazine.
